Accessibility statement

Built on Layers LLC is committed to ensuring our website is accessible to all individuals, including those with disabilities. We believe everyone should be able to engage with our content, learn about our mission, and support our work without barriers.

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA, and we are continually working to improve the usability and accessibility of our site.

What we’re doing

• Every page can be used with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus indicator and a skip link to the main content.
• Text and interface colors meet WCAG contrast requirements against their backgrounds.
• Images carry descriptive alternative text, and links and buttons say where they go.
• Animations are brief and purposeful, and they are turned off when your device asks for reduced motion.
• Layouts reflow for phones, tablets and desktops without horizontal scrolling, and text can be enlarged to 200 %.
